Guidline For Patient
We give equal importance to Visitor Care and convenience. If you are visiting our hospital then this section is for you to get a brief about hospital policies and services available for visitors We are committed to providing a safe, quiet and healthy environment for our patients, their family and friends. We recognise the therapeutic benefit and reassurance visitors provide our patients which accelerate their healing process. Hence request visitor’s to abide by the following guidelines:
- People with fever, cold sores, cough, nasal drainage, colds, diarrhea, or any contagious disease should not visit patients.
- Visitors should maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise to optimize patient rest. Keep visits short and quiet.
- Due to confidentiality, visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when doctor/nurses consult with a patient.
- Visitors must clean their hands when entering and leaving the clinical ward/unit. Alcohol gel or liquid soap and water can be used.
- For safety reasons, visitor’s are not permitted in isolation areas.
- Children cannot be left unattended in the entrance lobby or parking lot. Any child leaving the visiting area for any reason must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please switch off your phones and other wireless equipment where critical medical equipment & patient monitoring systems are in operation. However, they may be switched on in waiting areas.
- The entire hospital premise is a “NO SMOKING ZONE”; please do not smoke inside the hospital campus.
- Please avoid bringing costly items to the hospital. There might be a chance of losing/misplacing them.
Visiting Hours
The hospital visiting hours – Noon 12pm to 4pm & Evening - 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm ⦁ The ICU visiting hours - Morning - 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm and 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Visitor’s Pass
- You are requested to collect the Visitor’s from the reception.
- Only one visitor pass is issued per patient.
- A reliever pass can be collected from the front office desk at the time of admission procedure.
- Only one visitor is allowed to visit the ICU.
- Children below the age of 12 are not allowed into patients’ rooms.
Admission
- GRMI ( Rajasthan Hospitals) Consultant advises admission; OR
- Your personal doctor recommends hospitalization, OR
- GRMI ( Rajasthan Hospitals ) Casualty Department advises admission.
Admission Procedure
- Either the patient or relative must contact the Admission Desk office staff ( Counter No 1 & 2 ) for admission process
- An admission form will be provided for completion with patient details, and a consent form to be signed for the treatment that will be provided.
- A deposit will have to be paid at the billing counter 1 or 2.
- Once the registration formalities are completed, the patient is escorted to the room.
- An attendant’s / Reliever pass will be issued to the person accompanying the patient.
You Are Requested To Bring The Following Items To The Hospital
- All necessary Medical Reports and X-rays
- List of medications currently being taken
You Are Requested Not To Bring The Following Items To The Hospital
- Do not bring eatables, battery operated toys, cameras and children (below 12 years of age) in the hospital.
- The hospital will not accept liability for loss of any personal articles
Discharge Procedure
- Discharge will be given by the consulting doctor. The ward executive will initiate discharge formalities.
- On payment of bill, a folder containing the discharge papers and instructions for future treatment, follow-up visit with the consultant, etc. will be given.
- At the time of discharge Vistor and Attendent pass to be deposited at front desk.
