The department of ophthalmology provides a well-equipped facility for the complete examination, diagnosis, and treatment (both medically and surgically) for both adult and pediatric patients. GRMI (Rajasthan Hospitals) is the first Institute in Western India to have YAG Laser facilities in 1986. The department is well equipped with facilities for computerized eye check-up with Auto Refractometer, A Scan and B scan Unit, WEP testing for optic nerve conduction study, Fundus Camera for retinal photographs and fluroscein angiography, synatophore for exercises in squint patients and other. Micro Surgeries are regularly performed Cataract surgery is done by latest Oeritli ( Swiss made ) Phacoemultfication system along with world best MDO operating microscope all comprised by dedicated and well-qualified team of healthcare professionals with excellent support form nursing and administrative staff.
